Do I have to register people I know to get the deal?

No. Simply register yourself. There are enough Tuango members in your area to activate a deal. Having said that, you'll no doubt want to invite your friends and family members anyway, especially after realizing how fun and easy it is to get in on the action.

I want today's deal — how do I get it?

It's simple! All you have to do is click the "BUY" button on the deal page. Just be sure to do so before the deal expires. And tell all your friends; they can help push the deal through. If the minimum number of people needed has been reached, your credit card will be charged immediately and you will receive a link to print your Tuango voucher. On the off-chance that not enough people show interest in a deal, the offer stay inactive and no one is charged.

Will I be billed as soon as I join Tuango?

How long does one offer lasts?

This varies from one offer to the next. Every deal has a countdown, which appears on the left of the screen that tells you how much time you have left to buy the offer.

What happens if the deal doesn't reach its required number of buyers?

If the deal does not generate enough interest, the deal stays "inactive". As such, no credit cards will be charged and no one will be able to take advantage of the proposed discount.

I did not receive my voucher / I lost my voucher, what should I do?

You can find all your Tuango vouchers directly in your account. To retrieve a voucher simply go to www.tuango.ca, login by clicking on “My account” and then on “My Purchases”. You will find all the vouchers you purchased in there.

What happens if I forget my username or password?

Your username is the email address you use to receive your Tuango newsletter. If you forgot your password, simply click on “Forgotten password” to receive an email inviting you to reset it.

What is a Promo code?

It is not necessary to have a Promo code to go through with your purchase. Simply leave the field empty and click on “Complete my order”. Promo codes give you access to Tuango dollars or discounts on purchases made on Tuango. We give them away during contests and other promotional campaigns.

I bought a Tuango offer, but I'm not sure how to use it. What do I do now?

Once you buy a Tuango offer and the offer has been activated, your card will be charged and an email will be sent to you with your voucher(s). Alternatively, you can sign into your account at tuango.ca to retrieve and print your offer. The voucher will have the redemption instructions printed on it. Please note that in most cases you don't need to print your coupon, so if you have a smartphone you can simply show the voucher in electronic format to the merchant.

If I don't use the full value of the Tuango offer in one visit, can I use the balance at a later date?

No. Unless the Tuango voucher specifically states otherwise, you will not receive store credit or cash back for the unused amount. Treat a friend instead!

Can I combine my Tuango offer with other offers or specials?

No. Unless the Tuango voucher specifically states otherwise, it cannot be combined with any other promotions, credits or discounts.

How will I be charged consumer taxes?

Merchants doing business with Tuango are responsible for charging and/or remitting consumer taxes on their products and services. Some merchants may have to charge taxes differently because of limitations with their cash register systems but here are examples of how consumer taxes should be charged when using your Tuango voucher:

I have a problem with a merchant featured on Tuango. What should I do?

Please note that once the deal closes and Tuango issues a voucher, Tuango remits payment to the merchant and charges them a marketing fee. It is therefore the sole responsibility of the merchant to honour the voucher and provide the offer or service. Please contact the merchant for any complaints or comments concerning the merchant.

TUANGO DOLLARS (ACCOUNT CREDITS)

What are Tuango dollars or account credits?

Tuango dollars (or account credits) act like a cash deposit in your Tuango account – you are welcome to use them as you see fit on the purchase of your next Tuango deal or deals, depending on the amount credited. The value of a Tuango dollar is exactly that of a regular Canadian dollar. Promotional credits are also considered Tuango dollars, and hold the same value.

Please note that promotional codes, those that consist of an alphanumeric code and that can be entered when purchasing an offer online, are not Tuango dollars. They have an expiration date ranging from 5 days to 3 months from the time they were issued.

Are there any specific rules pertaining to Tuango dollars?

There are no particular rules regulating the use of Tuango dollars. They can be used in part, or in their totality, to buy any offer appearing on the Tuango website – depending on the amount available. It is nonetheless important to note that Tuango dollars hold no cash value, they are not cashable. Your Tuango dollars remain available in your account for as long as you are active on Tuango.

Do my Tuango dollars expire?

Your Tuango dollars remain available to you for as long as you are active on Tuango. By being active, we mean at least one transaction (purchase or acquisition of Tuango credits) per year. After a year of inactivity, so 12 months without a single transaction in your account, your Tuango dollars will be cancelled.

Please note that promotional codes, those that consist of an alphanumeric code and that can be entered when purchasing an offer online, are not Tuango dollars. They have an expiration date ranging from 5 days to 3 months from the time they were issued.

Where can I check my Tuango account balance?

To see how many Tuango dollars you have left in your account, you must first log in to your Tuango account. Once logged in, click on the upper right icon coined “My Account” then on “My Tuango dollars.” You’ll have an overview of how you’ve spent your Tuango dollars to date and of the amount still available in your account.

Moreover, in your daily email, a personalized message will give you an indication of how many Tuango dollars are still available in your account.

GIVE A TUANGO OFFER AS A GIFT

Can I buy a Tuango offer as a gift for someone else?

Of course! If you wish to purchase a Tuango offer as a gift, you can select this option at the time of purchase by clicking on “Offer as gift” on the offer page beneath the “Buy” button. Simply indicate the lucky person's email and we will send it to her/him. You can also buy the Tuango offer for yourself, print it out like a traditional gift certificate, and send it to the person you want to gift. Please note that you cannot buy a voucher to send as a gift and buy the offer for yourself in the same transaction. To do this, you have to do two different transactions. For product offers from the Tuango Boutique, simply indicate your friend's mailing address while processing the order.

Wait a minute! My name is on the Tuango voucher. Can I still use it as a gift?

Yes! The voucher is entirely transferable! Your name only appears on the Tuango voucher in order to help merchants track redemption. If you want, there is a place above the coupon where you can write the name of the recipient.

What payment methods does Tuango accept?

When is the purchase charged to my credit card?

Your purchase will be charged to your credit card at the time of purchase if the minimum number of buyers required to activate an offer has been reached. You will receive an email confirming the transaction. If the offer has not yet been activated at the time of purchase, your card will not be charged immediately but will be as soon as the minimum buyer count is reached.

Is my personal information safe?

Absolutely. We value your privacy and security. Your credit card number is transmitted through a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption, which then goes directly to a secure electronic vault. At no time is your credit card information stored on our servers. Can I modify or cancel my order?

What are the different types of permanent hair removal treatments?

Laser

What happens if the clinic where I am getting my treatments done closes?

Even though these cases are quite exceptional, it is possible (and unfortunately out of our control) that a clinic may close whilst getting your treatments done. We endeavor to treat these situations on a case-by-case basis. However, and as a general rule, in situation like these we do provide Tuango dollars (credits that will be added to your account and that you will be able to apply towards your future Tuango purchases) for vouchers that are still valid. The credit will be calculated based on the remaining of the promotional period.

How many treatments am I entitled to with my Tuango voucher?

Generally, one year of unlimited hair removal gives you 6 to 8 treatments, depending on the time required between each session determined by the technology used and the areas treated. This will be discussed during your first appointment with the aesthetician.

What happens if I am inadmissible to the treatments?

If you are inadmissible to the treatments (this will be determined during your first appointment with the aesthetician), we endeavor to reimburse your coupon’s value (the amount paid) - as long as you contact us within 60 days of your initial purchase.

What happens if I don’t take my appointment within the period indicated on the voucher?

In this event, the voucher loses its promotional value but remains valid at the clinic for the amount paid.

Money back guarantee

The Tuango commitment

Tuango's service is to sell discounted vouchers on behalf of merchants who are fully responsible by contract with Tuango for honouring their obligations. Expired vouchers

After the expiration date of a Tuango voucher, the voucher owner will not be able to get a refund from Tuango. However, the voucher will always be exchangeable with the merchant for the price paid (and not the value of the voucher).

It is important for Tuango members to use their vouchers before the expiration date, so that they can benefit from the full value of the vouchers.

It is also important for our users to understand that the merchant, and not Tuango, is responsible for providing the service bought or for honouring the voucher (at the price paid) after expiration.

What will happen with the RestoMontreal.ca website, Montreal’s restaurant-industry portal that was offering RestoBoom?

The RestoMontreal website will continue to operate as usual. Only RestoBoom will cease its activities.

What will happen to my RestoBoom coupons?

Your RestoBoom coupons will not be transferred to your Tuango account. You will keep the access to your coupons from the RestoBoom.com website with the same access codes as before, and this, as long as your RestoBoom coupons will be valid. Rest assured that the coupons bought through RestoBoom will be honored by merchants based on the established contract.

Do I automatically become a Tuango member?

Yes. Since Tuango has acquired the RestoBoom assets, its members will be transferred to Tuango. You will thus automatically become a Tuango member. If you don’t wish to become a Tuango member, you may click here before June 29, 2012. After this date, you will be able to unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the link to that effect that you will find on the Tuango newsletters.

What if I’m already a Tuango member?

If you are already a Tuango member, you will continue to receive our daily offers, as usual. Your information will not be doubled and your existing Tuango access codes will prevail.

Will my RestoBoom account and saved information will be transferred to Tuango.ca?

Yes. Your account and saved information will be transferred to Tuango. Once the transfer concluded, you will be able to access your Tuango account with the same username and password as your RestoBoom account, unless you already had a Tuango account, in which case, your Tuango access codes will prevail. Rest assured that, like RestoBoom, Tuango follows strict confidentiality rules and that your information will never be communicated to a third party.

Will my credit card information be transferred to Tuango.ca?

No, we do not store credit card information.

What will happen to my RestoBoom credits ($)?

Your credits will remain in your RestoBoom account during the transition. Following this, your credits will automatically appear in your Tuango account and will be available to be used towards your Tuango purchases.

Also note that if you were registered to Deal of the Day through your RedFlagDeals account, only your email address will be transferred to Tuango, but not your password. You will have to create a new Tuango password.

Will my credit card information be transferred to Tuango?

No. Your payment information has never been saved on Deal of the Day. Therefore, it cannot be transferred to Tuango.

What will happen to my Deal of the Day credits ($)?

Your credits will remain in your Deal of the Day account during the transition. Once the transfer will be made, your credits will automatically appear in your Tuango account and will be available to be used towards your Tuango purchases

What will happen to my Deal of the Day coupons?

Your Deal of the Day coupons will not be transferred to your Tuango account. Your coupons will remain accessible on the Deal of the Day website with the same access codes as before as long as your Deal of the Day coupons remain valid. Rest assured that the coupons bought through Deal of the Day will be honored by the merchants based on the established conditions.
